Hari Endows Art Fund

World renowned artist Kenneth Hari; who has studios in New York and Beijing; has formed a non-profit organization to help schools and organizations with their art programs.

Kenneth Hari has painted everyone from Gore Vidal to James Earl Jones, to Gene Kelly and Norman Rockwell, to Father Abel Alves and Maria Von Trapp. In his over forty years as an artist Kenneth Hari has been commissioned to paint seventeen members of the Grand Ole Opry's Hall of Fame, including a life-size portrait of Minnie Pearl clad in her signature straw hat and dangling price tag. Kenneth Hari's portrait of Paul Robeson still hangs in the Robeson Memorial Library at Rutgers University. Kenneth Hari's work can also be found in The National Portrait Gallery, London. England, The Museum of Modern Art, Barcelona,Spain; The National Gallery, Sophia, Bulgaria. His work is also represented in many private collections, institutions, and Universities.

On March 24th, 1974 Kenneth Hari's Mint First Edition Lithograph Print "THE PROPHET" was placed in the VATICAN MUSEUM, ROME, ITALY. POPE JOHN PAUL VI accepted the lithograph with "GRATITUDE".

Now over 25 years later, with many schools down sizing or totaling eliminating their art programs Kenneth Hari is donating the image of " THE PROPHET". The image of the "Prophet" has been placed on T-shirts and sweatshirts.

Whether it be visual or performing arts Kenneth Hari hopes that in some small way he can contribute.
